Hi, The wonderful extract I use & believe the most efficacious. it is wild crafted extract to ensure all the nutrients are stabilized & protected Please email me for information. healthprofessionalsnetwork@gmail.com Cheers Val RN,Midwife Child Health Nurse & Nutritionist You sound like one of those Chaga International people - they are like Jehova's witnesses, don't know a lot about Chaga, their product is simple raw powder in liquid (so undigestible and very limited potency), but they don't care about that: "It helps people!!" Clearly not by making them smarter. Only extracts or long simmering decoctions are useful. Read the research!!

(...) Chaga has the highest ORAC value known to man ~ over 50,000/gram, wild blueberries are 50/gram. (...) I would like to know where you got this ORAC number ? 50,000 p/gram is hard to belive, the highest figures I've seen so far (verifiable - certificates from Brunswick Labs) are between 1000 - 1500 units p/gram. Are you sure you got your numbers right ? Many chaga sellers are just giving a number without any explanation: 1000 ! 50,000! 23 million! the bigger the number the better is the common approach. Per gram, 100 grams, per serving (what is 'a serving'?) is often not mentioned. this is very deceiving!!!the people from mychaga are the worst, they are proudly mentioning that their product has over 52,000 ORAC units... PER LITER!! not realizing (and proving they actually don't know a lot about chaga) this is by far the worst ORAC-score ever recorded for chaga - keeping in mind 1 liter = 1000 grams this means their product has only 52 units p/gram... which equals e.g. raw raspberries. on the internet is also a reference to TUFTS University, stating they investigated chaga and found an ORACscore of over 23 million... i contacted them (being a chaga nut) and they said they never investigated chaga at all (only nuts and spices, using a non-standard method) and had no idea where this number came from. so to conclude i think it is wise to be critical at all times and don't believe all the hype. chaga is a wonderful product but too much hyped lately, because of gurus like daniel vitalis and david wolfe. this leads to unrealistic expectations and false claims.

Yep! Those Chaga International people do not even know what they are selling... They claim that just a few drops of their chaga extract will cure cancer...these shameless bastards are deceiving ill people who really is seeking alternative way to avoid chemotherapy or such...People,do not buy from them anything! Nowdays there is a lot of honest merchants on internet who would offer real chaga or chaga extract and give all necessary information and recommendations about dosage etc... Although I would be more willing to deal directly with producers...

Do believe i've discovered one truth abot chaga. That iT does, or can lower your blood pressure. I had bypass sugery 4 years ago January. And have leaned that taking an excess of some things does effect me. Recommended amount of wine is 4 ounces. if i drink a full whine glass i can feel a change in my heart, so I've learned to limit my intake of wine--Darn it! ;D Have been taking chaga 20 months now, and In the last few months have increaded it thinking more is better. When i make a batch in the crock pot it's enought to store in two large wine bottles. in a week or 10 days I've used that up and i'll make another batch. lately my heart feels like it's slowed down and beating slowly. once i felt dizzy, but only one time. All this had me worried that i may have more serious problems. Thinking about excesses again i cut the chaga back to about 3 teblesthingys twice a day. Within a day that slow heartrate feeling went away. Too much coffee will do the same to me, and that's how i take chaga mixed in with the coffee. With the coffee/chaga mixture i was figuring i could have moore cups of coffe that way--Guess i figured that wrong! Like a dummy I never checked the ole blood pressure, but I'm thinking anyone with high blood pressure may find a benefit in taking chaga. Just thought i'd pass this on!

My question is if you are using the alcohol extraction method , is there any way you can remove or neutralize the alcohol before consumption without affecting the beneficial substances. Necessary for us non alcholics.

I've pondered it and have stated It here also. I cannot see why our chaga wouldn't be tantamount to siberian. I've demonstrated to you pictures amd can find it very basic. Depending on if anybody desires the purchase some in the crude Pm me .. The secondary metabolites (the majority of the therapeutic elements) of Chaga are developing as a reaction to the environmental dangers and the host tree's defense system. The more harsh the environment, the more powerful the Chaga. Also this is why cultivated chaga like David Wolfe is selling is without therapeutic value - it is grown on rice...

Siberian Chaga or American chaga - the only thing that matters is it going to help you to improve your health and is it free from contamination like heavy metals or radioactivity. To find out what is best look at the supplement facts labels which all quality products have. It should list the bio actives so you can compare it against other products. Where it was grown doesn't make a difference IMO
Beware of shady ebay sellers that offer you untested raw products, you are gambling with your health because you have no clue what you are getting
