Thanks so much for your help with chaga. I was just about to order chaga extract from Eartherbs. Now I know better, I hate getting ripped off on supplements.
Have you tried Oriveda ? That's probably where I will go to order from.
I just got a bottle of reishi extract from Dragon Herbs, it has a great taste, strong. Thanks again Dan

Hi Karlos, I have been doing a lot of research on chaga, and have decided to go raw. I ordered raw chaga from ebay. I know that I will need to cook it for 8 to 10 hours, but that is ok with me. I'm going to put it in a slow cooker (crock pot) and cook it all day. This will be for my wife and myself. I think that you must take quite a bit to make it work. This way we can drink as much as we like, at least 2 cups a day. Much more affordably this way, you can get 1 pound for around $30 and it will last a very long time. Also you can buy Oriveda products on ebay from the manufacturer cheaper that on their website. So good luck with your chaga

I've been using our local Maine chaga for 15 month, and don't see why ours wouldn't be as good as it gets. Cold climate with all Industry well south of us. I started boiling, but went to the slow cooker as well. Right or wrong I add it to my coffee usually, and don't see it tastes much different than strong black coffee. Done it that way for so long now that coffee without it just doesn't taste right. I have ground it into a tea and used it that way, and probably will be doing more of that in the future. Didn't have health issue when i started using chaga, but taking it as a preventative.

Hello Everybody,
I am from Holland and live in Germany for 1,5 year now. I accidentally found a peace of chaga in my own woods here, my father was with me and regognized it. I looked up on the internet, and indeed, it was Chaga. I've been using it for 3 weeks now and I can not give any clear info about the results jet, only that my skin looks a bit better and that I'm not feeling that tired as before. But I think it's to quick to notice it verry clearly.
I do have been reading a lot stories from other people, and i must say that i'm thrilled and amazed about all the health improvements that Chaga gives people. It's wonderfull!!
Yesterday i went to look for more together with my son, and we found a really big bump on a birche tree, it looks like Chaga to me, but i'm also doubting a little bit. It's also brown on the outside and when I made a hole in it the inside was like the inside of a tree and not the rusty coller, only on the surface i saw some of the rusty colour and under the big bump, there was brown juice leaking out of it. With what i studied on the internet, i could be a Chaga, but i am not sure. Is there someone who will help me regognize it by pictures i made. I wanted to take it off the tree, but if it is not Chaga, than i will damage the tree.
I also read something about that only the Chaga from Syberia is good to use. Is that really true? Does that mean that i can not use the Chaga i find here in West Germany?
I hope that someone can help me. my email adress is stella-del-mattino@hotmail.com
Thanks
Lots of happy greets from Germany

I would be interested in buying chaga from you depending on what you plan on charging. I have a holistic practice and refer a lot of clients who have had great results. I work with horses who have cancer after curing myself of Cancer with it. I used to live in the mountains of NC and gathered it myself. Now that I'm in Fl. I need a source. I bought some and refer a few people to a company in Maine only to discover the one pound he is selling at a reasonable price is not dry chaga but soaked down prior to shipping. What a rip off might as well have gone to a health food store and paid their ridiculous price.

Does anyone know if chaga can help with stage 4 stomach cancer with spreads into liver? The person is on chemotherapy. Can these two treatments be used together? Thanks in advance. Genia I had Cancer 6 yrs. ago and went the holistic route to cure it.(stage 4 colon C) Chaga is amazing for so many different diseases.YES it works perfectly just as our creator intended! I have found that with working with people who get Cancer not everyone wants to get well. It's a very easy way to cross over. Just because you want them to get well doesn't mean they wish to. I have spent a lot of my time attempting to help people and have found that unless they personally come to you and purchase it themselves they will not get well. We all came to this earth for our own spiritual journey and need to honor and respect another one choice. The percentage of people who get well after choosing chemo/radiation are very slim compared to those who go the holistic route. To me cancer is no different than a pesky cold!

I agree as I collected Chaga in the mountains of NC and it worked perfectly! A friend was in Co. ran across some on the side of the road in the mountains and sent it to me. It was bitter and tasted horrible like poison. After they told me where they found it and described where it was there was no doubt in my mind that it had been contaminated with gas fumes and possible toxins for weed control. If your going to collect it make sure you are deep in the woods IMO!

His photo was deceptive or would be the amount you would receive if it was dry.

Why people say Siberian Chaga is superior to American Chaga is simple logic. Chaga derives e.g. a lot of its antioxidant power from the extreme temperature swings it has to endure. In Siberia these swings are the most extreme, so the fungus needs to protect itself against these harsh conditions. For that it uses e.g. anti-oxidant melanins (the black outside of the fungus). The low temperatures also cause the Chaga to develop much slower, resulting in a more powerful build-up of actives over time. Because of that Siberian Chaga outclasses other Chaga in antioxidant levels and active ingredients - simple logic. Another things is the remoteness of Siberia - fungi are true pollution sponges - it's their nature. So a Chaga that grew anywhere near cities, highways, industrial centers or human populations in general is much more likely to be contaminated with heavy metals and such. I would NEVER drink Chaga tea drawn from e.g. Maine Chaga or New Hampshire Chaga without having it tested for contamination first. 300 miles distance or so from a population center do not really count - fine particles can easily travel that distance via air. Ground water.... Over time heavy metals can cause cancers and brain damage. Something else now, I simply have to share this, it made me upset ---------------- Recently while on Facebook I stumbled upon a verbal battle between a senior executive of Chaga International and an opponent. For those that do not know - Chaga International is an American network marketing vehicle that is using very agressive marketing to make ordinary people sell bottles with 'energized aqueos Chaga solutions' to other ordinary people. The problem is that these sellers know close to nothing about the product they sell, they simply repeat the catchy phrases they were taught to repeat. But also the senoir executive I mentioned didn't know what was actually in their bottles - no idea what the level of active ingredients or heavy metals was. She just kept on repeating "I don't know the answers to your questions, but I do know Chaga changed my life". She could not show a certificate of analysis - this was secret proprietary information according to her. Others have no problem sharing their CoA - they are proud of the potency that is proved by their CoA. They have nothing to hide. Chaga Int. obviously does. The product was tested for its ORACvalue she mentioned proudly and had a stunning 52,000 u/liter !! Which is close to nothing actually - ORACvalue of the Siberian chagatrad.ru Chaga has 1104,000 p/liter and Oriveda's Siberian Chaga has even 1467,000 p/liter. The trick they used to get a big number was using 'liters' where others use 'gram' or '100 gram'. A liter equals 1000 gram. I hate that. Deception. Misleading people that might have a serious health condition with their references to scientific research that has nothing to do with their product. These guys operate like Jehova Witnesses. These people are giving Chaga a bad name with this agressive and deceiving marketing schemes, selling an inferior product that is most likely just water with a few grams of dissolved ground Chaga - the type you buy for $ 12 p/kilo wholesale. The profit they make must be enormous. If you go to Youtube and search for Chaga International you'll find a MASSIVE load of people trying to make a buck by selling you Chaga in water. Have a look at this one e.g.: www.youtube.com/watch?v=NDBS8shfsDESorry for the rant guys - just had to get if off my chest. I use extracted Chaga to regulate cholesterol and for my stress-related ulcer. It works pretty well so far, much better than I dared to hope for. I am using the Oriveda capsules, easy to dose and powerful. Recommended!

iseafairys2 I'm finding chaga evey day while deer hunting. Maybe If I wasn't looking for chaga so much I'd be seing more deer? Guessing i'd have 50-75 lbs if I'd brought it all back. I have some dry, but all of mine is as it comes from the tree. If your still interested I'd be glad to send you some, and the price would be reasonable. PM sent!

I took a printout on the cancer fighting claims to a friend who had bone cancer. I wasn't tryiong to be pushy, but told him and his wife to read it and go from there. I also gave them some of the tea I'd extracted and a piece of chaga as it came from the tree. Chaga was never mentioned by them or me on our later visits, but after his passing his wife handed the chaga back to me. He was so bad probably nothing would have helped at that point. I tell people about the chaga and It's studies and claims.I just tell them to look it up and read the studies done on it and for them to decide. It's great to read from others how chaga has helped them. like with iseairys2 curing his cancer. There's a nice big chaga next to the highway here. I've been meaning to pick it up, but I guess it'll live it's life right where it Is! Mine will come from way back in the woods. I'd read where charga also grows on beech. Finally found two trees in the same day with it.
